Fever

(Despite her face in this picture, Grace really does love us)

Baby Fever, that is.
It seems like EVERY. SINGLE. person we know is having a baby.
Or just had one.
I would be lying if I said this hasn't affected us.
It has stirred up a lot of conversations...ya know, the ones where you go back and forth, pro and con..
"Well, we don't want to wait too long because then we will be old (ha) when they are grown."
"True, but we also don't want to rush anything.  It's good to have time just to ourselves for awhile."
"On the other hand, both of our parents already had a kid by our age, and they did just fine."
"Yes, and it seems like we are getting signs from everywhere (and everyone) that its a good time to start a family."
"But what if that is just situational?  Our couple friends have a 5 month old and our niece was just born a few months ago.  It's all we have been around for awhile."
"It IS nice to go to the movies and sports games without having to get a babysitter or tug along a diaper bag, car seat, and stroller.  Oh and the baby."
"There's always the money thing.  We can barely pay bills and school loans as it is.  Throwing a baby in there seems impossible."
"Ya, but that could just be a scared excuse.  God will always provide.  Life would be different financially, but not impossible."
"Where will we live?  We want to be close (loose term there since our families are states apart) to ALL members of our family."

And that is only the tip of the iceberg, my friends.
Only time will tell, through lots of prayer, if this is just a phase for us (a "fever" if you will) or if God is truly trying to tell us something about our family.
