Interlaken, Switzerland=AMAZING

April 24-25
Interlaken was definitely one of my favorite spots on free travel. Switzerland is a beautiful coutry with lots of mountains, adorable houses, and friendly people. This is our first glimpse of Interlaken on the way to our hostel.
Balmer's Herbitage - we could not have picked a better place to stay!

We played a lot of ping pong
around town - walking to the mall/store
look familiar? not quite sure what it really means but it made me think of TEXAS
Miss Swiss just happened to be at the same mall we went to!
Lacey bought a tank top...this is the bag they gave her. Smart advertising if you ask me. We also bought groceries to cook dinner and it was the best meal of free travel...probably because it was real food.
Interlaken is like the capital of extreme sports -canyoning, sky diving, paragliding, you name it- but because it was all so expensive, we settled for scootering in the ALPS. I'm not complaining because it was AWESOME! first we had to practice..
scooter scenery

too cool for school.
breathtaking
funny story: We had to put gas in the scooters before we took them back. First of all, it took Lacey and I about 10 minutes to find the gas tank. Then the gas wasn't coming out of the pump...until the nozzle wasn't actually in the tank...so gas spilled all over the muffler and other parts of the bike that I can't identify. Legitimately, we were terrified that as soon as we started the scooter, it would blow up. However, no one would trade us so we just had to risk it...turns out, we didn't blow up.
yay for helmet hair!
we got some sweet Balmer's hoodies.
The cutest train station - Interlaken
saying goodbye to switzerland :(
NOW TO PARIS!
