dAy 4 - Aswan and the Nile
We woke up to a loud banging on the door as the steward yelled that "breakfast" was ready - aka 4 different kinds of stale bread, and water (bottled of course). We got to Aswan about 3 hours late but it turned out okay because we had a relaxing day ahead of us. We rode a felucca boat to a small nubian villiage, where we mounted the camels (story mentioned in previous post). After the very funny dismount of the camels, we were invited to a local's house where we had cokes, did some shopping, got tattoos (don't worry mom, they were just henna) and took pictures with live alligators. We took the small boat back to the cruise boat, where we enjoyed our first night at the disco!!!!!!!!! It took awhile for people to get on the dance floor but once a few brave souls got up there, the party started! They played some American songs for us like YMCA and the macarena, as well as many egyptian songs. Lacey and I retired to our rooms, beat and ready for a good nights sleep.

Missy Lou, after listening to your
camel experience it reminded me of
the sermon I did on finding a wife
for Isaac. It makes Gen 24:64 seem
not so romantic!
