Psalm 13
How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
and my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord's praise, for he has been good to me.
A lot of prayers have been said over the last few weeks for Meg. I am so appreciative, and I know that she is even more grateful. She is overwhelmed by the love shown to her during this time.
But sometimes, it is hard to keep trusting and to keep having faith.
When bad news just keeps coming, I start to wonder if maybe God is hearing me.
And then I come come across a passage like this...divine intervention, if you will.
No matter what happens, I must trust in God's unfailing love.
His perfect love.
And in the midst of darkness, I still need to count my blessings because they are abundant and I have not deserved any of them. God is good, all the time.
